Life's Scraps....

I don't have a card to share today, but just some sad news. One of our students, and a classmate of my twin daughters, was killed in an ATV accident on Sunday. It has been a long week...my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless.

Simple Birthday

I needed a quick birthday card, and this is what I came up with. Sometimes it amazes me how simple something can be but yet still be cute!!!

Coral Cutie

Hello! I am still using some of my retired paper, but that's ok! :) It seems, though, that when I make a card, I am always reaching for Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I just love that set!!Hope you enjoy the card!! Happy Tuesday!

Purple Friends

Purple is my favorite color!!! And, even though, this purple cardstock is retired, I still love it! It took me awhile to decide on the design, but after several attempts, this is what I came up with. Now, I just have to figure out how to properly photograph my cards. Hopefully soon.... :)

Thank You Card

Here is a card I created using the Hostess Stamp Set Because I Care. The card is made out of Riding Hood Red and NewsPrint DSP. I just love this DSP!!! I can't wait to try it on some scrapbook pages! What do you think???

Pretty and Pink

I know this is a retired stamp set, but I still love it!! I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set Doodle This. I just think pink and black are so striking together!!

Ebony and Ivory

Here is a card I made using black and vanilla cardstock and the Vintage Vogue stamp set. It is the first card I am posting to my blog. I need to figure out how to take a better quality picture, but for my first attempt...not to bad. :) What do you think of my debut?

The Vacation Buzz!

Hello! We just returned from vacation, and it was wonderful! Sun, fun, family, and friends. It doesn't get much better than that! Vacation also provided me with tons of pictures to get scrapbooked. Now it is time to get busy....not only with my scrapbooks, but also with my Stampin' Up! things. I can't wait to receive my new catalog!!! Despite vactaion, I have been busy making some cards, so today I am going to attempt to post a pic of a card I created. This is my first time with all of this...so we will see. ;0)
